Psynovations is a company in the field of organizational design, which helps companies modernize their job profiles and organizational culture, thus enabling them to keep a competitive advantage in the face of the changes in the modern working world.

Psynovations was founded in 2016 with an aim of bringing about change in the workplace. In the future this shall enable companies to flourish and grow thanks to their employees full contribution. At the same time we want to create better workplaces for employees that cater to the needs and wants of our modern-day-workforce.

We dream to help create organizations in which in which employees are engaged and in which employees can fulfill their potential. We dream to help create organizations in which employees do not dread the daily 9 to 5, in which they do not count down the days to their next holidays, in which employees do not feel the need to procrastinate. We dream to help create modern organizations. Modern organizations in which ‘work’ means contributing to a common goal, in which ‘work’ can be enjoyable, in which ‘work’ can be flexible. Psynovations will help change the nature of work and employment.

‘I spend about eight hours a day at work, but half of that time I spend wondering when it’s finally time to leave.’ ‘Officially I’m working until four, but whenever I leave on time it’s frowned upon.’ ‘It’s our culture that we stay longer, most people don’t have family, so they don’t mind.’ ‘My work is not appreciated, so I do the bare minimum.’

These and similar statements I heard daily in my coaching practice. In line with these statements, results from Gallup institute’s recent research on work engagement show that only 13% of employees worldwide are engaged in their workplace [in Europe we average on 12%, by the way]. What does that mean for companies?

Well, let me tell you what companies with a highly engaged workforce achieve.

Companies with highly engaged workforces outperform their peers by 147% in earnings per share and realize:

  • 41% fewer quality defects
  • 48% fewer safety incidents
  • 28% less shrinkage
  • 65% less turnover (low-turnover organizations)
  • 25% less turnover (high-turnover organizations)
  • 37% less absenteeism

Now, being psychologists we also know that most of you reading this will be thinking ‘Ha, lucky we are one of the high achieving companies’.

Truth is, however, this misperception is called the ‘above average effect’, which makes us believe we’re better than average. Unfortunately, that can only ever be truth for less than half of us.

So what can you do? Three steps: assess, design, evaluate.

We, at Psynovations, see our mission in supporting organizations in their quest for a highly engaged workforce. To us this means supporting change on several levels: assessing the status quo, establishing the right organizational culture, creating positive workplaces, implementing and sustaining new forms of employment, etc.

All of these steps help attract and more importantly keep the right employees and provide them with the conditions they need for optimal performance.
